Hours: Monday, Wednesday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Since November, 2009, this organization expanded and comprehensive dental services has been located at the new Center for Community Wellness campus at 908 South Evans Street in Uvalde. This is fully equipped to meet the needs of you and your family with ten dental operatories and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. The agency's staff not only provides services at the new campus, but also provides outpatient and emergency care at Uvalde Memorial Hospital. The Dental Team works with various entities throughout the community to ensure that special populations, such as children under the age of five, the elderly and veterans, receive vital preventive and treatment services. Like all CHDI direct care services, dental examinations and treatments are provided on a sliding fee basis and they accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid and CHIP.
